Google Pixel 4a:- Specifications, Price and will launch in October in India

Google Pixel 4a has been globally unveiled alongside its 5G variant and the company's flagship Pixel 5 smartphone. But, the launch of Pixel 4a in India is still a couple of months away and, just like last year, Google is not bringing its next-generation Pixel phone - Pixel 5 for the Indian masses.

Google says the two 5G Pixel phones - Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G model - will not be available in India or Singapore due to "a variety of factors including local market trends and product features." Fortunately, the affordable Pixel 4a is coming to India in October (probably during the festive season). 

Google Pixel 4a is official after multiple delays and a multitude of rumours as well as leaks. Google on Monday unveiled the new Pixel phone as its latest affordable model after last year's Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. The Pixel 4a India launch is set for October. However, it is already available for pre-orders in the US, with its sale scheduled for August 20. The Pixel 4a shares the camera experience of the Pixel 4. It also comes with some of the preloaded features that debuted on the last year Pixel flagship.

• Pixel 4a has a matte finish and Pixel’s signature colour pop power button in mint. It comes in Just Black colour option with a 5.8-inch OLED display. 
• The handset gets helpful experiences like the Personal Safety app for real-time emergency notifications.
• It also has Live Caption, which provides real-time captioning (English only) for your video and audio content.
• The Pixel 4a comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, Titan M security module for on-device security, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. 
• The price of Pixel 4a in India will be revealed closer to its launch in October 2020, when it will be available for purchase on Flipkart. It is priced competitively at $349 in the US, which is roughly Rs 26,242 in Indian currency.
